Available immediately through a simple phone call, all members now benefit from access to free, no obligation vehicle health checks which can be carried out at any ATS Euromaster's 470 service centres nationwide. This enables ALPS to deliver increased value to its clients in addition to the emergency roadside support they already receive, with customers encouraged to regularly test their vehicles to help protect against the risk of a breakdown. Paul Everett, Sales and Client Services Director for Europ Assistance comments: "Two of the most common causes of mechanical breakdown relate to battery and tyre issues. If we can help prevent these avoidable faults in the first place, then it will massively reduce the inconvenience motorists experience when their car breaks down or fails to start when they need it most." Each vehicle health check covers tyre tread depth, tyre condition, tyre pressure and includes visual inspections of front brakes, battery, exhaust and shock absorbers, with a written report issued to drivers on completion. This additional benefit is available to both existing and new customers. It is hoped that this will help to reduce avoidable breakdowns thus offering greater peace of mind to customers. |
